History ...

History Kempense Deaf Sport in Turnhout was founded in 1955.

Dosporta had already existed in Antwerp, where Karel Smets was a member.
When Gerard Lodewijckx, of Kemados, introduced him in Turnhout also a sports club to set up, gasped once again Karel, and sports along with some friends beat them hands together.

Thus, the first elected government on December 18, 1955. Karel apprenticed to Jos Franck, former president of Dosporta, who could teach him much about running a sports club. Kedosport had difficult early years, the death of some pioneers: Joseph caretaker and secretary Jan Dierckx De Fry.
The sport itself could still improve performance, but by diligently searching for new sports fans in the deaf schools Pierre and Antwerp, they brought in season 1962-1963 to Football Champion of Belgium, and in 1975 the Cup was won by Belgium.

Kedosport was forever gone and has become the club she is today. After the departure of President Karel Smets in 1995, Michel Wilmsen has taken over the presidency.
